Rio Viento RV Park Information and Rules

Help us to ensure that your stay is safe and comfortable by complying with the following rules. Upon signing the registration cards, you and your guests acknowledge receipt of and agree to abide by these rules. Permission/ length of stay and adjustments to the rules are at the discretion of the Management.  Thank you for your cooperation.

SECURITY: Gates are closed from dusk until dawn.  If you leave or arrive during those hours please close the gate behind you.  Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Keep your valuables locked up. Report any problems with your site to the Management immediately. Rio Viento adheres to and maintains all state, county, and local laws on property. The legal age for alcohol consumption is 21 years. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.

QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Please be courteous to other guests around you. Loud or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time.

EXTRA PERSONS: Site rental is for 2 adults and up to 3 children.  Extra persons are subject to an additional $10.00 fee per person per night and must sleep in your RV.  Extra vehicles must be parked in the Visitor Parking area or on your site.  No more than 5 persons per site.

VISITORS: All visitors to your RV site must register with the Management upon their arrival. Visitors are subject to a $5.00 fee per person.  Visitors must park in the Visitor Parking area or on your site. Your visitors’ stay is limited to 4 hours. Windsurfing visitors’ fee is $10.00 per person which includes use of launch ramps and showers.  You may have up to 2 windsurfing visitors per day.  No more than 5 persons per site at any time.

NO TENT CAMPING:  We have a shallow irrigation system.  Please check with the Management before driving any stakes or signs into lawn.

PERMANENT TENT AREAS:  Tents in Sites 25 and 61 are for groups of 3 or more RVs and require a reservation. Tent in Site 69 is for Seasonal guests only. Tent in Site 30 is open to all guests. Please keep it clean to preserve access for everyone.

CAMPFIRES: Controlled campfires are allowed on RV sites in raised fire places only.  Camp- fires must never be left unattended.  You are responsible for any injury or property damage.  Rio Viento assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries or damages.  No fireworks allowed.

SWIMMING: Swimming in the River is prohibited.  All children on the river side of the levee must be accompanied by an adult.  Life vests are required.  River currents are very strong.

RAMPS:  Launch ramps are for windsurfing or paddle craft only.  For the safety of all of our guests, launching or landing of kiteboards is prohibited.  Approved kiteboard launches are available nearby at Little Baja or the Sacramento County Park.

VEHICLES: Observe 5 M.P.H. speed limits. No parking on streets or grass.  RV age/condition (1990 or newer) may determine permission/length of stay.  All vehicles must have current registration and insurance.  All vehicle license numbers must be recorded at the Office.  One habitable and one non-habitable vehicle are allowed per site and must be parked completely on the site.  Washing or working on vehicles is prohibited.  Dropping camper shells is prohibited. Additional vehicles must be registered at the Office (subject to additional charge).  Anyone operating a motor vehicle must have a valid driver's license.  Gas powered skateboards or toys are not permitted.  A licensed adult must operate any other type of motorized vehicle.

CHECK OUT TIME IS 1:00 P.M.: Late check out of 4 p.m. may be available for a fee and must be arranged through the Office.  Any RV not checked out by 1 p.m. without prior arrangements is subject to charges for an additional night. No refunds for early departures.
        
CHILDREN: Families are welcome.  Parents or guardians are liable and responsible for the conduct of their children. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.  There is a 10 p.m. curfew for children under 18 years of age. Tree climbing is not permitted.  Motorized scooters and gas powered toys are not allowed.  No riding or playing around restrooms.

PETS: Two pets allowed per site.  Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.  Maximum leash length is 6 feet.  All animals are to be kept inside at night, and are never to be left unattended. All pets must be licensed and vaccinations current.  You are solely responsible for picking up after your pets.  Pit Bull (or similar) and Rottweiler breeds or mixes, or any aggressive animals, are not allowed.  Rio Viento has sole discretion when any determination is made.  By California law, you are strictly liable for any injuries caused by your pet.

SITE INSPECTIONS: Management conducts inspections of all sites.  Awnings extended from RVs are permitted provided they are properly secured.  This is a windy area.  Please secure all items around your site.  Please note the following rules for outdoor areas on your site:  Outside water heaters, refrigerators, permanent furniture, messy children's toys, indoor carpet, or "For Sale" signs are not allowed.   Fire laws prohibit storage of any materials under and around RVs.  No tarps or clotheslines allowed.  No towels or other articles hanging on fences or RVs.  Unsafe, cluttered or unsightly RV sites will not be tolerated.  Please dispose of your cigarette butts properly.  Please help us maintain a beautiful environment.

EVICTION FROM THE RESORT: Failure to pay in advance for occupancy or failure to comply with the Rules and Regulations currently in effect is grounds for eviction without refund and refusal of future admittance.  Any variation from the above rules and regulations will result in removal of your RV without judicial hearing after the service of a 72-hour notice pursuant to California Civil Code section 799.22.
                           
COURTESY: Rio Viento’s staff is proud to provide our patrons with courteous and respectful service.  Profanity or violence toward our staff or other guests will not be tolerated.

Rio Viento RV Park Seasonal Policy and Rates

Rio Viento RV Park offers a seasonal rate for guests who wish to visit regularly and have the convenience of leaving their RV at the park. This rate is available to individuals and families who would like to leave their trailer or motor home between visits.

Seasonal Rate is $500 per month. Each paid month includes space rental for that month and 15 days use of the site and facilities. Extra days will be charged at rack rate. Unused days may be carried over into the next paid (consecutive) month.

Space permitting, seasonal guests who pay for 5 consecutive months ($2500 total) may leave their RV on site for the remaining 7 months of the year. (Total of 75 days use of site and facilities over 12 months.)

Regular Park Rules apply to Seasonal rentals, with these exceptions:

Seasonal guests may have up to 2 visitors per day at no extra charge. (Visitors’ windsurfing fee is $10 per person per day.)

Seasonal guests 18 years of age or older may use the Gym in Space 2. Please wipe down the equipment after use.

Seasonal guests have use of the Seasonal Tent and barbecue in Space 69. Please help us keep it clean for everyone’s enjoyment.
